So Labor Day is not a day free from labor for us. And of course every day we must labor for the Lord. As Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
Two key words that caught my attention in that verse are always and fully. Our labor in the Lord is never to stop. We are always working for the Lord no matter what we are doing. And our labor in the Lord must be total. We are to give ourselves completely to working for the Lord at all times.
